Ingredients
gluten-free flour (e.g. Biofood Buckwheat flour)
200 g
salt
1/4 teaspoon
melted Biofood coconut oil
3 tablespoons
warm water
80 ml
apples peeled and thinly sliced
4-5
gluten-free sultanas
50 g
Tagatesse Without Sugar
50 g
cinnamon
1 teaspoon
lemon (juice)
1/2
melted Biofood coconut oil
2 tablespoons
Icing sugar
(optional, for sprinkling)
Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
In a large bowl, mix together the gluten-free flour and salt. Add the melted coconut oil and mix well. Gradually add warm water and knead until a smooth dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add a little more water.
Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix the apple slices, sultanas, Tagatesse, cinnamon, lemon juice.
Roll out the dough on a surface dusted with gluten-free flour into a thin rectangular piece.
Brush the dough evenly with melted coconut oil. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the dough, leaving about 2 cm from the edge.
Carefully roll the dough into a strudel and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush the top of the strudel with some more melted coconut oil.
Bake the gluten-free apple strudel in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and crispy.
Remove the apple strudel from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Sprinkle the strudel with icing sugar (if desired) before serving.
Cut into slices and serve warm. Enjoy your delicious gluten-free apple strudel!
