Biofood olive oil
Red onion, finely chopped
Carrot, finely chopped
Clove garlic, pressed
Fennel powder, dried
Biofood split peas
Dill, fresh and chopped
A few sprigs
Biofood herbal salt
1 to 1,5 litres
This recipe is perfect for 4 people.
Heat the Biofood olive oil in a large pan. Then add the onion and fry for 5 minutes. Add the carrot and celeriac.
Stir this regularly over a medium heat. Then add the garlic, fennel powder, bay leaves, parsley and possibly pepper and Biofood seasoning salt to the pan.
Stir the mixture and add 1 litre of boiled water. Add all the Biofood split peas and bring to the boil, while stirring. Put the lid on the pan and let it boil for about 1 hour.
Taste the soup after 1 hour. You can season the soup with pepper and Biofood seasoning salt if required. Once the celeriac and Biofood split peas are cooked thoroughly, your soup is ready. If you like your soup a little thinner, you can add some boiled water.
Finally, remove the bay leaves from the soup and add the dill. The soup is ready and can be served in pretty bowls. You can finish the soup with some extra decoration on top and serve it with some bread. Bon appetit
