Ingredients
Almond flakes
30g
Walnuts
30g
Salted roasted peanuts
30g
Grated coconut
30g
Unsweetened creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons
Liquid sweetener to taste
to taste
Low carb jam of your choice
2 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Without sugars dark chocolate
1 tablet
Preparation method
Put the almonds, walnuts, peanuts and coconut in a small food processor.
Blend the ingredients until finely chopped.
Add the peanut butter, liquid sweetener, and salt.
Blend until the ingredients come together to form a ball.
Divide the mixture into 6 balls.
Take a ball and squeeze off about ⅓ of it. Flatten this into a round shape.
Using the remaining ball, make a dimple in the middle of the ball with a skewer.
Put ¼ teaspoon of jam in the centre of the ball.
Cover the dimple with the jam with the flat disk and press to stick.
Gently roll the ball in your hands to reshape it and place it on a plate.
Put the energy bites in the fridge to stiffen, about 10 minutes.
Enjoy them immediately or dip them in some melted dark chocolate.
