Finely chop the garlic and lightly simmer in a hot pan with olive oil. Finely chop the onion and sauté with it.
Cut the cherry tomatoes into 4 and sauté them with the pan. Add the dried basil, a pinch of pepper and the seasoning salt and simmer for a while so that all the flavors come together.
Prepare the spaghetti as directed on the package.
Mix the spaghetti with the sauce.
Finely chop the fresh basil, add it and mix again. Serve with some basil leaves to finish.
