Preparation method
First prepare the Régime rice. Rinse the rice as described on the packaging. To make it sticky, put 140g of Régime rice in 500l of salted water and cook over low heat for 8 minutes. Stir occasionally. Put the rice in a bowl and let it cool for 20 minutes. Stir from time to time. Then place in the fridge for another 20 minutes.
Now the rice should be nice and sticky and can be processed into sushi. To do this, lay a nori sheet on a rolling mat and place the rice on top. Spread the rice so that the edges of the nori sheet have at least 1 centimetre of clearance. If you like, you can now spread some wasabi paste on the rice bed.
Now cut the avocado, pepper, pak choi and cucumber into thin strips. Divide the desired ingredients over the rice bed. If necessary, sprinkle with cress or black cumin. Then the sushi roll can be carefully rolled up.
Cut into strips and serve with some soy sauce and wasabi paste.
