Unsalted butter
240 g
Tagatesse Without Sugars
150 g
Eggs

Vanilla-essence
2 teaspoon
Pastry flour
390 g
Salt
½ teaspoon
Baking powder
½ teaspoon

Low-carb jam biscuits for Christmas! The cut-out in the top gives you a taste of the filling: yummy!
Preparation method
Beat the butter and Tagatesse until fluffy in a food processor. Add in the eggs one at a time, waiting for the first egg to be fully incorporated before adding the second. Add the vanilla essence.
Sift the flour with the salt and baking powder. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture, mixing on slow speed.
You can continue working with this basic dough. Make sure the basic dough has rested in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface. Cut out biscuits from the dough. Make a star or heart in half of the cut-out biscuits.
Bake the biscuits on a baking tray for about 10 min, one under the other, in the middle of the oven. Change the baking trays halfway through the baking time. The biscuits are ready when they start to turn golden brown at the edges. Leave to cool on the baking tray for 5 min. and on a wire rack for another 1 hour.
Brush the dense biscuits with a layer of jam. Push a biscuit with a cut-out on top.
Let the biscuits cool completely and sprinkle some more Tagatesse on top.
