Annual Tradition: Fair Friday

While many dive into Black Friday to enjoy discounts and deals, we introduce: Fair Friday. On November 24th, we offer a generous 25% discount on our entire range. But what truly makes this action special is that 100% of the profits will be donated to Forrest and Friends vzw, an organization dedicated to rescuing neglected, abandoned, and animals saved from the livestock industry.

This year, Damhert Nutrition aims to draw extra attention to the welfare of farm animals, an issue often overlooked. These animals, such as chickens, goats, and sheep, often suffer in the livestock industry and deserve as much compassion as their wild counterparts. We believe that ALL animals have the right to a healthy and happy life. Therefore, we call for more awareness and action to improve the lives of farm animals.

Why Forrest and Friends?

Forrest and Friends vzw, founded in 2017, has a mission to provide animals with a better life. They shelter approximately 300 animals, but they go beyond that; they also act as an animal shelter and seek 'golden pastures' where animals like pot-bellied pigs, goats, sheep, and chickens can age without worries. What makes Forrest and Friends unique is their dedication to animal welfare. Here, animals are in charge, and their care always comes first.

In August of this year, a touching article appeared in the newspaper about a dumped sow that gave birth to as many as 13 piglets in a forest. This story illustrates the urgent need for organizations like Forrest and Friends vzw, committed to rescuing and protecting animals in need. We not only want to express our support for Forrest and Friends, but we also want to emphasize that something special can be done to help these young piglets.

At the moment, Forrest and Friends are still looking for loving homes for the piglets. By adopting, you not only give these animals a second chance but also make a difference in their lives.

Education and Awareness

An important aspect of Forrest and Friends' work is education and awareness. They spread knowledge about the intelligence and emotions of animals, making people aware that animals should no longer be seen as food, entertainment, clothing, test subjects, or commodities. Through tours and information dissemination, they work towards a future where animals are treated with respect and compassion. Why inflict pain on others when we can live happily and healthily without doing so?
