Witch's fingers are made of sweet dough decorated with almonds and jam. But they look convincing - and creepy! Perfect snacks for a Halloween party
Preparation method
Using a food processor, beat the butter and Tagatesse until pale. Add the egg and vanilla and beat again. Sift the flour and baking powder and mix into a soft dough. Leave to rest for 30 minutes.
Heat the oven to 180ºC. Divide the dough into 45 pieces and roll out each piece into a finger shape. Press the back of a knife into the dough to make knuckles. Lightly press an almond onto the dough where the nail would go, then remove it again. This is just to leave a dent for later. Place them on lined baking sheets and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Then bake them for 10-12 minutes until golden brown, then remove from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack.
After cooling, spoon a little jam on the nail base and finish with an almond.
